TUV is German abbreviation of Technischer Uberwachungs-Verein that means "technical supervision association".it has strict and detailed inspection standard, and has the incrcasing of supervisors, not only in the European Union, worldwide are very famous.
In 1872 Gustav Schlieper established DUV (steam pan testing laboratory), is also the TUV predecessor. In Elberfel and DUV Barmen, DUV also considered "steam pan quality supervision association".
